Tarzan e il grande fiume

Barcuna, capo degli "Uomini leopardo", si procura schiavi da adibire alle miniere di diamanti della sua tribù, aggredendo villaggi indigeni. Tarzan accorre per assicurare alla giustizia Barcuna, ma le difficoltà che incontra sono notevoli. Il capo degli "uomini leopardo" è molto temuto, e tutti hanno paura di combatterlo e di fornire la sia pure minima traccia per stanarlo. Ma Tarzan, per aver salvato prima il capo Bishop, che insieme ad un orfanello indigeno, Pepe, trasportava su di un canotto dei medicinali ad un villaggio colpito da una epidemia, poi la dottoressa Phillips, che ha assistito ad uno degli attacchi di Barcuna, riesce a far vaccinare i superstiti e ad arginare così l'epidemia. Questa volta gli indigeni riconoscenti gli forniscono una utile pista, permettendo a Tarzan di rintracciare Barcuna che resta ucciso al termine di una dura lotta.

Un alibi (troppo) perfetto

In un penitenziario inglese dove i detenuti godono di grande libertà per poter partecipare ai progetti di riabilitazione e reinserimento nella società, Dodger Lane, un ladruncolo di poche pretese, intende avvalersi dell'aiuto di alcuni delinquenti che hanno quasi finito di scontare la loro pena e stanno per essere rilasciati. Il piano di Lane consiste nel convincere i detenuti ad evadere in gran segreto per potersi appropriare di una favolosa partita di diamanti, per poi fare ritorno in prigione, avendo in questo modo un alibi perfetto e inattaccabile. Lane si finge un pastore protestante per poterli avvicinare e convincere. Poiché i tre detenuti accettano, insieme progettano la fuga, evadono e compiono il colpo. Rientrati in carcere la sera stessa, non vengono sospettati e dopo poco tempo guadagnano la libertà, mentre il ladruncolo Lane viene assicurato alla giustizia. Non tutto però va come previsto...

Tarzan il magnifico

Rankin trova la tomba di Styles, la apre e dentro vi trova anche il ferro chirurgico con cui erano state uccise le ragazze. La vista dell'oggetto crea un forte turbamento in lui e quando si riprende non ricorda nulla degli avvenimenti del giorno prima. Intanto un'altra ragazza - una ballerina - viene uccisa e anche sua moglie, che lo aveva pregato di desistere nelle sue ricerche, viene assassinata. Rankin comincia a essere assalito da dubbi. Chi è in realtà? E cosa ricorda veramente del suo passato?

Strangers' Meeting

A fateful Stranger's Meeting leads to a maelstrom of crime, deception and murder in this 64-minute British programmer. The beautiful Delphi Lawrence heads a stellar cast, including such reliables as Victor Maddern, Norman Rossington, Conrad Phillips and Reginald Hearne. The plot centers around acrobat Peter Arne, falsely accused of murder. Escaping from the authorities, Arne hides out in a rustic inn, allowing first-time director (and former cinematographer) Robert Day ample opportunity for dark, menacing shadows and sinister underlighting. The genuine murderer is revealed just seconds before the culprit's death. Stranger's Meeting was held back from release until Robert Day's "official" directorial debut, The Green Man, had made the rounds.
